Some Muslims believe taking photos is haram, please forgive us if you are one who believes that too.(inshallah, no one should think of these photos as "images of worship" that would be Haram.) Our effort is to share with any who are interested in comming to our school and join our community; to be able to see for themselves the beauty of Allah on the faces of these glorious creations of Allah.
Each child was asked permission & their parents to be able to show their photo on the net. Anyone wishing to have their photo removed need only ask and it will be done ‘no questions asked’!

A two hour multi-media presentation on the effects of legal and illegal drugs
from the Philadelphia Police Narcotics Detective Unit.
INCLUDING: Cigarettes & Alcohol! (…”although legal”, one of the Dectives said, “cigarettes kill five million people every year.” Alcohol is the next highest killer. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12th grades.
Passport to the World
6, 7, 8, & 9th grades visited the world. In our Upper school's Main Hall the 10th, 11th, & 12th grades
each took different parts of the world and showed Islam as it is presented in that section of the world. They did this through dress, food and display boards.
We learned that even though the cultural differences can by vast and many, loving Allah is always the same. Praying five times a day is happening everyday in every land where ever a Muslim lives. We learned that we should love and respect our brothers and sisters whether they eat hummus dip or Sour cream-and-onion dip.
That, cultural differences are only on the outside, and as Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu ‘alaihi wa-sallam) said,
“Indeed, Allah does not look at your physical appearance and your wealth, rather He looks at your heart and your deeds.”
Thank you Sister Azmina Hamad for such a great lesson for our students.

Students had a mock Passport that was signed by each Country's Ambassador
More to come...
10th Grade With Sister Hamad 11th Grade 12th grade Salaams everyone.
