Our effort is to share with any who are interested in coming to our school and join our community; to be able to see for themselves the beauty of Allah on the faces of these glorious creations of Allah.
Each child was asked permission & their parents to be able to show their photo on the net. Anyone wishing to have their photo removed need only ask and it will be done ‘no questions asked’!

This photo was tossed & the 12th grade said "No! they liked this one
showing their playful side." Among all the life decisions these Seniors are making it's good to find time for a little 'Stress relieving fun'.

2009 Passport to Islam
Students from grades 7 Thur 12 worked in groups of 2 to 4
Each group is given a country in which Islam is a predominant belief to present.
Students, after being graded, would then circulate around the world(so to speak) to learn about each different Islamic Culture. Brother Abdul Qabid Shariyf stops at each booth to grade the students knowledge on their country.
Art, creativity, and use of modern electronics to present were also part of the grade.
*One of the Goals is to see that all that is different is the clothing, the food, or customs, but the inner Heart, the Love of Allah is always the same.
**Not to judge with your eyes, that which your Heart does not yet have the skill to see.**
Which of us has the skill to 'see' another man's heart and judge him?

A two hour multi-media presentation on the effects of legal and illegal drugs
from the Philadelphia Police Narcotics Detective Unit.
INCLUDING: Cigarettes & Alcohol! (…”although legal”, one of the Detectives said, “cigarettes kill five million people every year.” Alcohol is the next highest killer. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12th grades.
Self defense demonstrations
6th grade Teacher, Brother Rami, is also a Marital Arts expert.
Rami says, “It is essential for every Muslim to be able to defend themselves
if the time should arise. However, every Muslim should remember this is for
‘Self Defense’ not to be the aggressor!
If an arrogant and/or ignorant man was to insult you, your faith, or your family in any way, you must remember he is ignorant and does not know any better.
It is our job, our effort, OUR DUTY as Muslims to be the examples of peace and faith.
Not to be the examples of anger, foolish pride, impatiens, and aggressive behavior.”
Self Defense means defend, not attack!
Furthermore, he said, “Any coward can start a fight; it takes a man with courage to stop one. Any coward can call a name; it takes true bravery to hold your tongue.
Any coward can call a name or make a fist. True Muslims will invoke the justice of Allah, and follow the example of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) who never sought revenge or was known to be angry at any one." (End quote)
